high schoolers
A small group of high schoolers with an idea wanted to bring people together through something real. Cultivating Connection was started from the ground up as a smaller solution to the community's challenges rather than a massive one. Cultivating Connection started as a few high school students who loved the local gardens but found themselves faced with a much bigger opportunity.
Despite everyone's busy schedules and commitments to their education, a group of students found time to work together side by side in their community gardens and create a feeling of unity amongst each other.
Starting small, Cultivating Connection aims to show how much of a positive impact can be made when people start with a small idea and focus on their goals. Bringing people together is the vision for the nonprofit, and each action that the nonprofit takes aims to leave the community in a better place than when they first found it. Though the organization started small, the impact that they are creating today is strong and growing with each passing day.
